My Passion Is My Why

CHOOSING A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Wedding photography is important, don’t let your choice for a photographer turn into this.

Pam Beesly: Hey my aunt told me something neat. She said, everything with the wedding goes by so fast, we should try to take mental pictures of the high points.

Jim Halpert: Oh wow, that's cool. [turns to Pam] Click! Oh you blinked! Dammit now that's in my brain forever.

Pam Beesly: Oh.

Jim Halpert: What a lousy picture.

Pam Beesly: We should've hired a professional to take the mental pictures.

I Have Been Inspired By Humans. Every Single One Is Unique.

If 5 couples got married in the same location, on the same day, with the same decor, all at the same time, I guarantee their wedding galleries would be completely different.

Why can I say that? I love to watch people, get to know who they are, chat with them and understand their values.

This allows me, as the hired wedding professional to become part of your friends and family group for the day. Which in turn, allows people to relax around me and be themselves. Thats when the truly unique moments happen.

I have the opportunity to get to know the mother of the groom, and learn that she is the one who will shed the tears. Or the father of the bride who cries because his baby girl is growing up so fast.

Every Moment Counts

Mingling with your wedding party gives me the scoop on who the emotional people are, I get a chance to overhear all the goods, maybe that the bridesmaids have planned a surprise for you or that the groomsmen have all brought their sunglasses and planned an epic picture for you because they have done it at each other their own weddings. I have had the pleasure to photograph many humans. Sometimes it isn’t quite that clear, but experience has shown the signs of where to look and what to watch for.

I Photograph Weddings Because I Believe That Every Person Deserves To Be Known, Every Persons Story Deserves To Be Told.

Every wedding couple is unique, their families are unique and with that, their stories are exactly that, their stories.

What this really breaks down to, I love to capture the emotion of the day, making your photos more than just a memory. I want them to tell your story on every level. I photograph weddings because I want to give back the tangible memories that can physically exist as daily reminders to my clients of who they love, and why they love those people.

When it comes down to it, you are spending the entire day with your photographer. You have to love them and their work.

So, you want someone you are comfortable with, who will photograph candid moments that are important to you and capture the blink free high points that you may miss, because it becomes challenging to pay attention to everything and everyone else on a day where everyone is focused on you.
