10 Epic Wedding Venues With Outdoor Space In Ontario

Picking a venue can be a challenge on a good day, but picking a venue with Covid in the back of your mind is an entirely different beast. So, I have put together this list of venues that I have personally worked at that have en epic space for outdoor options. These aren’t listed in any particular order, they’re all amazing!
1. Farmhill Weddings In Peterborough Ontario
Just outside of Peterborough is a gorgeous modern venue. This beautiful space was put together with everything in mind. It is bright and airy and beyond photographable. It is a wedding photographers dream to shoot! Oh and they also do couples sessions and farm tours for couples. (photographable too!!) So if you choose this venue, I would love to be there with you!! 2. The Meadows In Stirling Ontario
OMG.. This place doesn’t even need me to brag about it. This adorable venue has space inside that is epic and amazing, but they have gone the distance. They have a gorgeous pavilion outside. You can have every piece of your wedding outside and not even worry about rain. It is so prepared and they made it pretty along the way. On top of that, they offer two options for gorgeous ceremony sites. This venue is family run and they are the most amazing group of people. I absolutely love working with them and would be happy to spend all of my weekends here! Check them out here.
3. Trillium Trails In Oshawa Ontario
This venue gives all the feels. It surrounds you in an exceptionally gorgeous landscape. You can have a ceremony outside, and never have to leave the grounds. Everything on their grounds is stunning from the bridges to the ponds, the hills to the established gardens and trees. It really is a stunning place to get married. 4. Black Diamond In Pontypool Ontario
I don’t have much to say about this venue except that it is so amazing! They go out of their way for couples and make sure your day is everything you planned it to be and more! They have a stunning ceremony site outside overlooking epic greens. For your portraits, they take you and your entire bridal party to all the best spots! They definitely don’t disappoint!! 5. Eganridge Country Club In Fenelon Falls
This course has the most picturesque ceremony location. They set couples up overlooking the water and under a large and completely gorgeous tree. The wedding party walks across the beautiful lawn to approach the site. It’s absolutely stunning. Photos of the friends and family are easily accomplished right on the site where the ceremony took place! It makes everything so simple for the couple, then when it’s time for portraits, they are wisked away together on a golf cart for private couples portrait moments. It becomes a romantic opportunity is the most gorgeous locations around the grounds. Check them out here.
6. Northview Gardens In Peterborough Ontario
On the edges of Peterborough Ontario, this secret little garden has the most beautiful space to get married in. They pride themselves in their gardens and creating an epic and beautiful experience. They have a pretty little ceremony site right beside their reception location. They work hard on their gardens and flowers and you get all the benefits! I will photograph all the weddings here. 7. Strathmere In Ottawa Ontario
Strathmere is stunning. It has so much to offer and includes multiple options for ceremony locations making it a wedding Venue near Ottawa Ontario that is a must have! They offer so much more then just weddings, but their gardens and grounds are to die for! This location has soo many choices, and every single one is as amazing as the next! Check them out here.
8. Ganaraska Forest Centre In Port Hope
This space is magical. It reminds me of a secret garden hidden in the forest. Except. that it isn’t a garden, it is just the cutest clearing in the trees located at the bottom of a long staircase built on the side of the hill. It is just the sweetest little space. On top of that, you can stay over, they have rooms for rent! It really doesn’t get any better than that! Check them out here.
9. Golden Beach Resort In Roseneath Ontario
A quaint little place with cabins for rent allowing you and all your guests to stay the night and have a ton of fun in the process! You can enjoy your ceremony up on a hill overlooking Rice Lake. The view really doesn’t get any better. Once you’re finished with the ceremony, you can travel along the grounds to get all your intimate portraits done in one or all of their many locations. 10. Leopard Frog Farm Near Kingston Ontario
This adorable little space is a hidden gem. It’s hard to find and they like to keep a minimal amount of weddings per season. So to get in, it’s tricky but so worth it! They have a gorgeous waterfront space for the ceremony and room for tents to be put up and if you are able to be inside, a cute barn for dinner and dancing. They have it all, you can’t go wrong!
