#1 Use Your Bouquets as Decor
Your bouquets arrive in a bunch of vases in a box and get shoved onto a table in the corner looking messy. Let’s change that! They’re beautiful, show them off!
Have the bouquets in their vases lined up across the back of a table or under a window. You paid for them, let’s use them ALL day.
Sentimental items also work as decor before you put them on.
Did you get gifts and put them in cute bags? Those are cute table decor too, set them up nicely.
#2 Remove Unnecessary Clutter
The focus should be on you, don’t let a mess detract from your images.
Take the tags off of clothing before the day of.
Have an easy access tote or a bag for all your loose items to be easily put away or accessed.
Less is more - If you don’t need it for getting ready, leave it at home.
# 3 Hang Your Wedding Dress
Your wedding dress is the best part of getting ready photos, you want to showcase it! You can also have the photographer capture it in an epic spot. Your wedding dress helps tell the story, so just have it hanging up behind you while getting ready. Easy Peasy. Not only will it look gorgeous in the background, it will be part of the day and tell your story in the most epic way.
Hang your wedding dress up in a central location, it’s gorgeous!
Have all the dresses hanging somewhere else in the room too, they’re gorgeous and are meaningful in the images.
For that matter, when all your clutter is away, you can leave all wedding details out and they will be noticed and photographed, by me of course!
#4 Snacks and Music are Epic Additions
You probably won’t feel hungry because you’re nervous and busy but, you should eat.
Put out finger foods, you will likely snack all morning on something you can easily grab when you walk by.
Music will help set the tone and positive energy for the day, it’s always fun to have on in the background. Singing throwbacks with your besties, yes please!
