I Find It Empowering, Confidence Building And Honestly, Fun.

It is just that.

Boudoir makes you feel good about yourself, no matter your size or shape. There is something about walking around in your underwear and receiving pure and genuine compliments that build you up!

I am not a natural when it comes to being sexy or sexually inclined, I am actually the opposite. I am good at being quirky and fun. So for my shoot, I couldn’t make the face, the sultry one that is commonly seen on girls faces who are posing for their pictures. I used a face that I call ‘sick flu face’. When this face is made in a healthy state, its pretty good. I can explain it to you when you book your session with me. I have a couple of tricks I like to use to help you get the desired look in your photos.

For my session, I started with a sweater and long thigh high socks and cute underwear that covered half my bum, then transitioned into something a little more revealing. It was a bodice/corset that seemed innocent enough, but still not something I would wear outside of the bedroom. After that, I confidently jumped right into the sultry blacks consisting of stalkings with the cute straps. But by that time, I was feeling pretty good about myself and totally comfortable walking around in this outfit, as if this was a normal Saturday afternoon in the comfort of my own home.

That said, that is just how I did it. You can do it in any fashion. If you don’t own some of these items, and don’t want to go buy them because let’s face it, life is expensive, you can look through your closet and find things that will work. A comforting start is to steal your partners dress shirt. These are great because they can be very sexy in so many ways!. They will love the fact that you wore it for the shoot when looking at your pictures. If you are doing this for yourself and don’t have a partner to steal shirts from, you can use a bathrobe or even just a body suit. All you have to do is think outside of the box and you’re all set. A progressive system starting with maximum coverage and slowly removing layers is the secret to success for any boudoir session.
